Day 2 - Noto to Ragusa

Today marks the true beginning of your Sicilian odyssey, a deep dive into the island’s heart, where ancient civilizations, dramatic landscapes, and timeless traditions converge. Leaving behind the golden elegance of Noto, you’ll venture into the soul of the Hyblaean Mountains, one of Sicily’s most storied and untouched regions. Along the way, explore Palazzolo Acreide, a town steeped in history from its Greek origins to its baroque rebirth, where narrow streets echo with the island’s layered past. Savor local flavors with a coffee and arancino in a quiet piazza before continuing through open countryside, where olive groves and dry-stone walls stretch to the horizon. Your day culminates in the spectacular hilltop town of Ragusa Ibla, a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque and a living symbol of resilience after the great earthquake of 1693. As the sun begins to dip behind the hills, you’ll enjoy a guided visit of Ragusa Ibla, wandering its winding lanes, elegant palaces, and charming piazzas before settling in for the evening. As night falls over its honey-colored stone buildings and the majestic Duomo di San Giorgio, you’ll be immersed in history, beauty, and southern Italian charm.

Day 3 - Ragusa to Piazza Armerina

Leaving Ragusa, the cradle of Sicilian Baroque, today’s route reveals a strikingly different side of the island. Riding past the tranquil waters of Lake Santa Rosalia and through the fertile valleys around Giarratana, famed for its sweet onions, you’ll climb to Monterosso Almo, a hilltop village celebrated for its olive oil and sweeping mountain views. A scenic descent leads to Vizzini, birthplace of writer Giovanni Verga, before reaching Grammichele, with its remarkable hexagonal layout—an icon of post-earthquake baroque planning—where you’ll enjoy a home-cooked Sicilian lunch. The journey continues toward Caltagirone, the “City of Ceramics,” renowned for its colorful tiled staircase, and ends in Piazza Armerina, home to the extraordinary Roman mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by history and timeless charm.

Day 4 - Piazza Armerina to Montedoro

Today’s journey takes us deep into Sicily’s storied interior, beginning in Piazza Armerina and winding through eucalyptus-lined roads once used to support the island’s sulfur industry. Our path leads to Lake Pergusa, where legend says Hades abducted Persephone, a myth that gave birth to the seasons. From here, we descend into the fertile Salso River valley before climbing to Caltanissetta, once the global capital of sulfur mining. Its grand palazzi and cathedrals echo a bygone era of immense wealth and cultural exchange. After a hearty lunch, we traverse the golden wheat fields of central Sicily, landscapes that earned the island its title as “Rome’s granary.” The ride ends in Montedoro, a quiet hilltop town steeped in mining history and surrounded by a timeless agricultural landscape. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided visit to the Museo delle Zolfatare, discovering the fascinating story of Sicily’s sulfur mines and the lives of the miners who shaped this region’s identity. This stage weaves together mythology, history, and Sicily’s rural soul — a rare glimpse into the island’s most authentic heart.

Day 5 - Montedoro to Corleone

Departing from the quiet mining town of Montedoro, today’s route takes you deep into Sicily’s rugged interior, tracing the paths of ancient peoples and feudal lords. Passing through the Gallodoro River valley, once home to the Sicani civilization. We climb toward one of Sicily’s most striking landmarks: the Castle of Mussomeli. Perched dramatically on a limestone outcrop, this 14th-century “Castle in the Clouds” blends Gothic elegance with military might. After exploring the village below, we tackle Monte Cammarata, our most demanding ascent. At 1,578 meters, it’s the region’s highest peak, offering sweeping views over Sicily’s mountainous spine. A scenic picnic at the summit allows time to take in the natural beauty and rich biodiversity of this unique Triassic landscape. From here, rolling hills guide us through historic villages like Santo Stefano Quisquina and Prizzi, before arriving in Corleone. Known for its cinematic associations, Corleone’s real story is one of Arab origins, medieval prominence, and a dramatic setting carved by river gorges and time. This is a day of contrasts, where myth meets geology, and where every climb reveals another layer of Sicily’s raw, powerful soul.

Day 6

Day 6 - Corleone to Palermo

Our final day begins in the hills of Corleone, with the road leading into the wild beauty of the Bosco della Ficuzza, one of Sicily’s grandest forests. Towered over by Rocca Busambra, a 1,613-meter limestone giant, this former royal hunting reserve offers rich biodiversity and glimpses of the elegant Bourbon hunting lodge, the Real Casina di Caccia. From there, we ride to Piana degli Albanesi, a fascinating town that has preserved its Albanian language, traditions, and Byzantine-Greek rites for over 500 years. Continuing onward, we reach Portella della Ginestra, a windswept mountain pass and a poignant site of Sicily’s modern history, where a 1947 massacre deeply shaped the island’s post-war identity. Our final climb rewards us with sweeping views of the Conca d’Oro, the "Golden Basin" of Palermo. Descending through the foothills, we reach Monreale, whose awe-inspiring Norman cathedral stands as a testament to Sicily’s layered cultural heritage. At last, we roll into Palermo, the vibrant capital where Arab, Norman, and Baroque worlds collide. From Noto to Palermo, from canyon floors to mountain summits, this journey has taken us through the soul of Sicily: its people, its stories, and its breathtaking terrain. Congratulations! You’ve crossed an island and touched history with every pedal stroke.

Relax & Discover

Trip wows

Beyond the postcards and the polished piazzas lies a wilder, deeper Sicily, one that breathes through its broken roads, sun-bleached stones, and wind-swept hills. This isn’t a tour; it’s an immersion. Every ride reveals something unexpected: a crumbling fortress, a quiet village frozen in time, a shepherd sharing cheese made that very morning, or a bar where the granita is still churned by hand and served with warm brioche.

Backroads to the Past

Time Travel

Ride through centuries of forgotten roads, where history clings to every stone and silence carries the weight of time. From the moss-covered ruins of crumbling Norman castles to remote Byzantine chapels hidden among the hills, each twist and turn reveals a piece of Sicily that modern maps have long since overlooked. This is a journey where the landscape itself becomes your storyteller... whispering of ancient conquests, sacred rituals, and generations who lived close to the earth. As you glide through ghost villages and olive groves older than memory, you’ll feel the pulse of civilizations long gone, still alive beneath your wheels. You’re not just moving through space,  you’re peeling back time, layer by layer, entering a Sicily few ever truly see.

Sicily as you've never seen it

Off the Map

Leave the tourist trail behind and immerse yourself in a version of Sicily most travelers never experience, a place where paved roads give way to ancient tracks, where every bend leads to raw stories etched into the land. Here, the terrain is wild and untamed, shaped by wind, time, and history. You’ll pass through forgotten villages where life moves slowly, where elders still gather in sunlit squares and the scent of woodsmoke drifts from kitchens clinging to tradition. There are no crowds, only vast horizons, hidden chapels, unexpected kindness, and the thrill of true discovery. This is the Sicily that doesn’t fit in a guidebook. It’s not curated, not polished, and that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

The best roads aren't on the map

Cracked but Golden

What looks like a broken path is actually the beginning of something unforgettable: a quiet passage into the heart of Sicily, where its most enduring treasures lie hidden in plain sight. Follow these rugged, winding roads and you’ll find shepherds who still sing to their flocks at dawn, olive trees older than many nations, and stone villages suspended in time. This isn’t a journey built for speed or comfort,  it’s one that invites you to slow down, to listen, and to see. Every crack in the road tells a story, every dust-covered trail leads you deeper into an island shaped by centuries of devotion, survival, and soul.

Let Sicily welcome you home

Ride Like You Belong

Blend in with the rhythm of the island, where dusty hills stretch toward the horizon, the scent of citrus and wild herbs floats on the breeze, and every road feels like it’s leading you somewhere personal. Meals aren’t just food; they’re invitations. Recipes passed down for generations become your introduction to a culture built on generosity and fierce pride. And the people? They don’t wait to know your name before welcoming you. Strangers wave from doorsteps, offer you espresso with a smile, and treat you like family long before you arrive. In Sicily, belonging isn’t earned, it’s offered.

This isn’t just a bike tour. It’s a homecoming, even if you’ve never been here before.
